The major Nordic teleoperator Telia wanted a way to reach out to and establish a rapport with visitors at events they sponsor and have a physical presence at. The aim was to emphasise that Telia is a forerunner in both technology and customer experience, and also provide an example what 5G network will enable.
Futurice conceptualised an interactive solution utilising 360 video that allows people to check out the newest VR technology and walk away with a memory - in this case a 360 selfie in an iconic scene of their choosing sent to their e-mail address. The souvenir emphasises the fact that the company’s subscription and services work all over the world and creates a connection between the event visitor and Telia.
